Research Overview
This page covers the 10 mg blend vial: BPC-157 5 mg + TB-500 5 mg in one lyophilized vial (1:1). One mix, one draw — both peptides come along evenly.
For the larger vial (BPC-157 10 mg + TB-500 10 mg), see the 20 mg blend research reference.
| Parameter | 10 mg blend research model |
|---|---|
| Vial contents | BPC-157 5 mg + TB-500 5 mg (10 mg total) |
| Format | Single blend vial — one volume to draw |
| Research cycle pattern | Once daily for 5 days, then 2 days off |
| Measurements per cycle | 20 (~1 month) |
| Consecutive cycles | Up to 3, then a 2 month pause |
| Standard mix | 2.0 mL bacteriostatic water |
| Final concentration | 5 mg/mL total (2.5 mg/mL each peptide) |
| Easy reference | 10 units = 0.5 mg total blend (0.25 mg + 0.25 mg) |
| Timing | Evening prep is common — at least 2 hours after the last meal |
| Preparation area | Abdomen |
Measurement Examples (2 mL Mix)
Add 2.0 mL bacteriostatic water to the 10 mg vial.
U-100 math at 5 mg/mL total: 1 unit = 0.01 mL ≈ 50 mcg total blend ≈ 25 mcg BPC-157 + 25 mcg TB-500.
| Units | Total blend | BPC-157 | TB-500 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 units | 0.25 mg | 0.125 mg | 0.125 mg |
| 10 units | 0.5 mg | 0.25 mg | 0.25 mg |
| 20 units | 1.0 mg | 0.5 mg | 0.5 mg |
Common research-reference example: 10 units daily on the 5-on / 2-off pattern.
At that example, one 10 mg vial ≈ one full cycle (20 × 0.5 mg = 10 mg).
Mix Steps
- Gather the 10 mg blend vial, bacteriostatic water, alcohol swabs, and a sterile U-100 syringe.
- Wipe both rubber stoppers with alcohol and let dry.
- Draw 2.0 mL bacteriostatic water.
- Introduce the water slowly along the glass wall — not directly onto the powder.
- Swirl gently. Do not shake.
- Label the mix date; refrigerate at 2–8 °C, protected from light.
- Use within about 3–4 weeks with clean technique.
Research Cycle Pattern
- On: one measurement per day for 5 days
- Off: 2 days
- Per cycle: 20 measurements (~1 month)
- Blocks: up to 3 consecutive cycles, then a 2 month pause
Same cycle pattern applies to the 20 mg blend; only the unit math changes with vial size.
How This Works
BPC-157 is studied for cytoprotective and soft-tissue research signaling. TB-500 is studied for cell-migration and recovery-related pathways. In this blend they stay at a fixed 1:1 ratio in every draw.
Storage and Handling
- Lyophilized: cool, dry, dark; refrigerate or freeze for longer holding before mixing.
- After mixing: refrigerate at 2–8 °C; do not freeze; protect from light.
- Discard if cloudy or particulate.
